This collection of intaglio works by Isabella Branella, albeit limited, aims to offer a satisfactory taste of the artist's qualities in the field of metal engraving, expressed in the time span between the beginning of his collaboration with the Laboratorio and today. Her engravings illustrate some of our most beautiful editions (here in the catalogue), many others in loose sheet testify to a constancy in the themes, in the skills gradually refined, in the aesthetic rendering that is always very effective. Other online exhibitions of his linocut and lithographic works will follow, techniques in which Branella excels and with which she made excellent sheets.
